Our second ride of the summer was the Cattle Country Stampede in Dimmitt, TX.
It was slightly smaller in attendance but the roads were smoother so it made for a nice ride.
The temperature got pretty hot so it was a good prep race for our next one
which is called the "Hotter 'n Hell." The Dimmitt ride was another 40-miler but we only stopped once and were pretty comfortable so it was encouraging. :)
