One of our fun summer happenings was to have a picnic at the Hairplane Park on base every Monday evening. It was actually very pleasant weather all but a couple of times. Some days Daddy was even able to get out of work early enough to change out of his uniform so we could play a family game of frisbee! (Tru is a fantastic frisbee player, if you're wondering.)
