Chronology of A TruDog
Five Months!
rolling over front to back
putting his pacifier in by himself
taking 1 bottle of formula a day
noticing Harley the Cat for the first time
having stare-downs with Harley the Cat
giving Harley the Cat the blink-look-away
really annoying Harley the Cat
loving his Jumperoo
trying to put everything in his mouth
smiling all the time!
laughing if we're funny enough...
wearing cloth diapers
having Bible time with Momma every day
being smooched senseless
not sleeping through the night...*sigh* :)
Some pics, since that's really all you want anyway :)

Uncle Jordan, Aunt Keisha & Cousin Gabriel Visit
My youngest brother, Jordan, freshly minted from the Naval Basic Training Camp, has been transporting his family and all their Earthly belongings via U-Haul to the Jacksonville area over the last couple of days. We are so glad they decided to stop by and see us on the way!! Truett was happy about it too, despite the conspicuous lack of charming Tru smile. How in the world did I miss the Gabriel/Truett photo op??
But if you’re jonesin’ for some smiling Tru pics, here you go!

As the Dust Settles
As of last night, we hit a big milestone: we are officially moved in - all of the boxes are unpacked and everything is pretty much where it it’s supposed to be. This does wonders for our peace of mind. Even Truett seems more at peace with his new home:
I must caveat that last picture with this piece of advice: Never take a picture of a sleeping baby in a perfectly quiet room. When the silence was split by what had to be the loudest camera shutter sound ever, he absolutely came out of his skin – good thing he was strapped in to that seat!
Today, Truett bears the emblem of the Texas Rangers so he can show his Grandpa what a big fan he is!
So as Truett was showing off one of his outfits,
he decided to participate in a game we call “follow the weird noise maker that Daddy is holding”:

In Transit
Well folks, here we are in the great City of Lubbock. Our household goods delivery has been delayed almost a week so we’ll relax here with the Padres and enjoy some time with Jason’s family before we hit the road to Montgomery.
Tru is in a good mood before his nap
“Ha ha! – Good one Bunny”
Sundays are meant for Gene Autry in this house – Tru is ready with his new boots and vest
..looking very excited:
That Gene Autry just wears a man out:
