The first event was Abbie's Bridal Lingerie Shower. Jenna, Ashley, and I hosted it. We had about 15 attendees, and it was a lovely time.
The invites:
Jenna, Ashley, and I enjoyed decorating. :)
Personalized water bottle wraps. Ashley brought the cute straws...
...and she made these adorable chalkboard wine charms.
Jenna brought the wines - and she even color coordinated them!
My first attempt at subway art. :)
For her undies, I glittered some clothespins and pinned them to black ribbon. The banner says, "Sassy & Chic," which was the theme.
I learned how to emboss for the occasion. :)
Ashley brought these cookies all the way from TX! A friend of hers made them in the exact shape as the invitations. :)
I made the little tags, which I totally stole off a Pinterest post.
Abbie and Jenna.
This cake was unbelievable. It was Chocolate Covered Strawberry flavor, with a ganache filling. I found an awesome bakery in Old Town Alexandria to make it for me. It was exactly what I wanted. :) Yes, it was a splurge, but I've been waiting to throw a lingerie shower for Ab for over a decade!!!
The food was yummy.
We had so much fun with all of Abbie's friends. Here were are talking to Cynthia, who was with Abbie in Russia. Cynthia is actually a USAFA grad, and we knew each other briefly. She and her husband are a HOOT and we loved visiting with them! :)
Ashley talking to Erika, her soon-to-be sister-in-law
There was lots of this. :)
Abbie, I hope you felt showered! I know all those ladies were honored and, well, giddy, to get to bring you fancy, frilly gifts! The next event was the Bridal Luncheon, hosted by aunts Ricke, Sharron, and Karron at Mount Vernon.
The invitations:
I special ordered the pink paper with the ivory flocking because it fit Abbie's vintage theme perfectly :)
Mimi (Matt's grandmother), Abbie, Mom, and Abby (Matt's sister-in-law)
Ash
Aunt Sharron, Erika (Andrew's bride-to-be), Jenna
Ashley, Aunt Karron, Tracy
I didn't get any pictures of the Rehearsal Dinner, unfortunately.
Cousins :)
Here are the boys at the church for the wedding. Tru and Trev wore little tuxes. :)
Thank you, Auntie Jen Jen for bringing a tub of toys for the boys to play with!
Being a Good Lookin' Man at his Rant's wedding wears a man out.
All the grands were so happy to see Grammoo and Granddad!!
The boys took a bath together every night. They are CUTE.
We were WHOOPED the day after the wedding. Moo hooked us up with these. Thanks, Moo! (I had to arm wrestle Trevor and Truett for one with sprinkles.)

When we left, Tru gave Auntie Jen Jen a 5-minute hug. He LOVES her. It really is quite something.
Tru and Daddy relaxing during one of the rare free moments.
We rode around town in style in our MINIVAN. It was hilarious. Jenna was in heaven. Jack and Jason were ready for WITSEC.
I brought 400 stickers to entertain You-Know-Who at the airport, and I needed every single one. The was on the way out to D.C.
On the return trip, Tru managed to spill milk all over his pants at the airport. I didn't have a change of clothes for him, so I had to buy him these shorts while we dried the pants. It was all fun and games until they fell down while he was performing for the crowds. At least the red socks he INSISTED on putting on that morning matched.

We sure had a great time with the family! :) What a trip! Congrats, Abbie and Matt!
