Tru celebrated his 3rd Birthday on 22 March! We had a fun-filled day as a family that involved lounging in pajamas, fruit snacks in bed, hot dogs for dinner, and cake and presents with Grammoo and Granddad Skyping in!
Sid the Science Kid is our very favorite thing right now, so that was the theme this year.
We made these cookies to give to our friends at school.
Tru had to endure a doctor's visit on his big day (36-month Well Child Visit), and he requested ice cream as his reward. We took him to DQ where he ate a hot dog and soft serve. The hot dog was a little too hot at first...
After dinner, we came home for cake and presents. This is homemade chocolate with vanilla pudding filling and crusted buttercream icing.

Momma and Daddy got him an art desk, which he L-O-V-E-S. Just keep the stickers and glue and markers comin'.
Grammoo and Granddad got him a Cookie Monster keyboard for his jamz and some new duds. He loves his new pajamas so much that we fight every morning about having to take them off and put on real clothes.
It sure was a fun, fun birthday!
