Monday

Monday morning came too quickly!  We had MOPS today, so I was up early to get showered and hair fixed before Jason left for work.  Jason got Tru out of bed and fed him a delicious breakfast of banana, oatmeal, and yogurt.

While they were noshing, I started the upstairs Monday cleaning:  dusting, glass cleaning, and vacuuming.

Tru came up to help after while.

While I finished up, he caught up on his periodicals.

After the cleaning was done, it was time for teeth brushing, face washing, and a clean diaper before MOPS.  We are lookin' good and ready for the day!

Once we had all our bags packed and snacks made, we headed over to the church.  Tru knew exactly what to do when we got there:  Play with trucks first.

Our group - Twister Sisters - was paired up with the Candyland Cuties this week...so J Searl and I were together yet again!  It was a lovely meeting with good food, good fellowship, and great pearls of wisdom regarding discipline from our mentor moms.

We always have to leave MOPS early so Tru get get home for his nap.  He fell asleep inside of 30 seconds once he got in bed.

Time to get up!

After nap, we had a lengthy session of story time.

He takes his story time VERY seriously.

Then we had to replenish our fuel supply.

Then we resumed cleaning:  vacuuming, glass cleaning, trash gathering, dusting, mopping, litter box changing, Jura maker cleaning, and dish washing.  That took quite a while, so Tru was ready for another snack.

Daddy surprised us by coming home early!

Then it was back to the ironing, menu making, and grocery list writing.

We had dinner, played quite a bit, and then headed up for bath and bed.  Tru loves to brush his teeth.  Doesn't he look good in his PJs I made him? :)

We can't go to bed before a good game of chase with Momma. :)
