Sunday

Sundays are nice and relaxing around here.  We wake up at Truie o'Clock and start getting pretty for church.  There is always time for building a Lego tower with a spiral staircase.

We then, like clockwork, arrive to Life Group 15 minutes late...no matter what. :)  Here we are with the Schindlers in the picture I pilfered from Julie's blog...because I forgot all about Week in the Life blogging and failed to arm myself with the camera. :)  Side note:  We sure are glad to be stationed with our fabulous friends for the THIRD time!!!

The report from Truett's teacher was that he was cranky today.  That's the last time we'll leave for church sans snack. While he was being cranky, Jason and I headed over to help out in the 3-4 year old class...and it was a good thing, because Miss Madeline Grace Schindler was not a happy camper.  But we solved that problem quickly and proceeded to have a great time.

After church, we rushed home to make grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup.  Tru LOVES tomato soup, hates grilled cheese sandwiches.  The crankiness continued.

After a speedy lunch, we all went down for a nap.  Looooooooove Sunday naps. :)

Here is Tru's post-nap crank face.

After nap, Tru has his snack.  After snack, he sat on the couch with Daddy and watched Clifford.  With his bears.
Then he built a fort out of chairs while I crafted with my Cricut.
Then Tru and I did some coloring.

Then Truie and I danced while we sang JJ Heller's What Love Really Means.
He loves to have his picture taken!
Once dinner was eaten (leftovers), Tru and Jason headed for the bath while I listed to some fabulous French horns on the Robin Hood soundtrack and cleaned the kitchen.  When Tru was back, he had to get to work on the floors.

Tru was in bed by 7, the laundry was done an hour later, and we were settling in to watch some TV, on track to be in bed EARLY!  But then Julie started haranguing me about blogging. :) So I went to knock it right out, but the computer was craaaaaaawwwwwwllllllling.  Then it wouldn't read the memory card.  So I restarted it.  Then I found out Jason had the camera set to take RAW pics.  So then I started to upload them to Picasa.  And that was 45 minutes ago.  Soooooooooo sleeeeeeeeeeepy.  I will do better tomorrow, Julie!!
